Finalist for Food Pub of the Year Awards!

A traditional country pub near Leamington Spa is in with a chance of winning the title of national Food Pub of the Year!

The Stag at Offchurch, which acquired new management and completed an extensive refurbishment less than 12 months ago, has been short-listed in the Publican’s National Awards.

The pub has been recognised for its great food and good value as part of the awards criteria, and now goes forward for the prestigious overall prize.

This is a phenomenal achievement within a year of launching the pub, which is managed by a team of young entrepreneurs who developed their culinary and business skills under the watchful eye of Raymond Blanc.

Charles Harris and Nigel Brown are absolutely thrilled with the short-listing nomination and are excited about the forthcoming ceremony at the Grosvenor House in London. It also follows their success in the Coventry and Warwickshire Awards last year when they were a finalist of Best Pub Restaurant, and Lizzie King the restaurant manager won the individual Customer Service of the Year Award.
